Muhammad Moner Ahmed – Former Hong Kong International & ACC L2, CHK L2 Advanced Cricket Coach

Also known as Moner Dar, is a former  cricketer who represented Hong Kong internationally. Born in Pakistan, Dar moved to Hong Kong and became a significant figure in their cricketing landscape. His career highlights include playing in the Asia Cup and the ICC World Twenty20, where he was a key player in Hong Kong’s historic win over Bangladesh. Dar’s all-round capabilities as a hard-hitting batter and a left-arm orthodox bowler were well-regarded. Post-retirement, he has dedicated himself to coaching at Little Sai Wan Cricket Club, nurturing talent across junior, women’s, and senior teams. His commitment to the sport and his ability to inspire the next generation of cricketers continue to make him a respected figure in the cricket community.

Suresh Pandey – ACC/ICC L2 Coach, former Professional player, CHK Advanced Level Coach,  Diploma in Fitness Trainer

Suresh Pandey, renowned for his professional cricket experience in the UK and Bangladesh, has been a cornerstone of the Little Sai Wan Cricket Club. As a pro player and coach, he has been pivotal in nurturing young talent. Currently, he serves as the Club Pathway Coach, with a special focus on batting techniques. His expertise in this area is unmatched, making him an invaluable asset for those looking to enhance their batting skills. Under his guidance, many have honed their abilities and contributed significantly to the club’s success. His dedication to developing youth players is a testament to his passion for the sport and his commitment to excellence in coaching.

Coach Coordinator Club Head of Pathways

Ghulam Saqlain – ACC L1,L2 Coach, ACB L3, ICC L2 Coach Educator, Former National Women Coach 

Ghulam Saqlain’s journey through the ranks of Little Sai Wan’s coaches and officials is a testament to his dedication and hard work. Over the years, he has not only focused on developing club pathways but also on advancing his personal education. He is now ICC Advance Level Educator and an active coach trainer. His tireless efforts with the Sai Wan women’s team have been pivotal to their success. As an instrumental figure for two decades , Saqlain took on the roles of women’s national coach and pathway coach with Cricket Hong Kong for 3 years. Presently, he continues to shape the future of cricket as the Head of Pathway and Coach Coordinator for Little Sai Wan, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the sport and its athletes.

 

Fielding & Spin Bowling

Saqib Mahmood,  ICC Level 1 and CHK Level 1 Coach 

Saqib Sufi is recognized for his amiable and committed nature, having contributed significantly to the Delia Broadway School over an extended period. His efforts were instrumental in developing a highly successful school team. Saqib’s experience includes playing for the club’s senior teams and actively supporting the youth programs. His affable demeanor makes him popular among children, and his proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Urdu enables effective communication across diverse groups. Presently, Saqib is involved with the club’s junior teams, providing valuable assistance to the head coach and nurturing the next generation of players.
